In August of 2018 we decided that we will change the way we did things.
Given the situation of environmental crisis that the planet suffers and being aware of how opaque is the fashion industry, we decided to go the way to become a sustainable and transparent brand.
We decided to return to Spain to produce our shoes and stop manufacturing in Asia to control all manufacturing processes and reduce our carbon footprint.
Right now, we manufacture exclusively in Spain, specifically in Elche, in family-owned companies with more than 40 years of experience in the footwear sector.
She is Lilianne, she works in Fedala Export, doing the figurative process that consists of marking with a template in the upper of the shoe where our F. has to go. Then the upper will be already marked to another girl who will be in charge of sewing the F to the textile.
With an iron mold, we mark the F in the textile and with a machine, through pressure, we cut the F so all the pieces will made with the same proportions.
The F ready to be stitched in the upper.
Our logo, inspired on a winter sunset from the mountains of Gran Alacant, where we live.
The colors lines below the name represent the colors of the sunset. The sun reflecting its rays on the mountain and the sea.
This picture shows the sewing process. With extreme care, Lilianne is an authentic artisan with more than 25 years of experience. Each label is stitched one by one, in a very manual process.
He is Antonio. With more than 40 years of experience working in one of our factories, Fedala Export, based in Elche.
In this photo, Antonio is cutting the textile pieces to make our shoes very carefully because organic cotton and materials made from recycled plastic bottles need a very special and rigorous handling.
